Summary
A worthy unified theory must set criteria. Some are shared by any theory in any domain. Others are specific to social science, and another is particular to a unified theory of influence and change. These qualities may be expressed as propositions.
General Requirements
§a. A unified social scientific theory, like any other comprehensive scientific theoretical structure, must be held to the standards of science, including generativity, testability, discomfirmability, simplicity, and elegance.
