Summary
In an age of dirty little wars, where international humanitarian law is routinely ignored, the paradigm of how the international community deals with conflict is inadequate to the demands and changing aspects of what one could call kaleidoscopic events. This Chapter lays out what those challenges are and calls for new thinking in how we deal with the conflicts of the future.
