Summary
In this book, the topic of human struggle has been explored through the writings of Christian, Western and Muslim theologians, philosophers and thinkers. The purpose of the comparative approach is to show that the language and experience of struggle and suffering is universal and can lead to a similar search for meaning across the religious experience. Furthermore, while Christians and Muslims anchor this search in their faith in God, very often faith itself can become our greatest struggle.
