Summary
Presentations of sexual assault in women and men aged 60 years and over are infrequent occurrences for both sexual assault medicine services and the forensic pathologist. The presentations of elderly sexual assault victims share characteristics with younger victims, but also involve unique vulnerabilities, important clinical differences, and barriers they must overcome to report.
