Summary
Respondents in this project will remain anonymous. Interviews were conducted between 2007 and 2011, in London, Paris, Moscow and St Petersburg, in total 42 interviews. In personal interviews I avoided interviewing the ‘usual suspects’ – the vocal critics of sistema – and those whose positions in sistema make them too vulnerable. Published interviews and materials have also informed this study. The list below illustrates the most interesting materials:
