Summary
Transcendence is a movement of surpassing or stepping beyond, and takes many different forms. It can involve a surpassing the contents of consciousness out to the things themselves; it can involve a surpassing of entities to the world as their ground; it can involve a stepping beyond entities to being itself; and it can involve a surpassing of being to the clearing, or surpassing the current prevailing understanding of being toward a new adaptation (Ereignis).
